Yes, I think there are going to be quite a few of us in the same boat...

I have spent a couple of thousand (AU) dollars on my Amiga setup over the last year and a half to two years (for those of you o/s, that would be equivalent to around 800 quid)...

And it's not even PPC. It's only Blizzard 1240/40... Which is good enough for now...

I still haven't decided whether or not to upgrade and take the "A12020 DE plugin" upgrade path or keep my A1200 as it is now and go out and but all new hardware from scratch and network the existing A1200 to the new hardware...

Or I could upgrade my existing setup to PPC, but the problem with that is that I could buy a whole new computer (PC) for the price of the PPC card alone... And then my SCSI card isn't going to be compatible with the new PPC card I buy (and I'm guessing the RAM also wont be compatible) so it will end dup costing me a hell of alot more than I anticipated just to bring what I aleady have "up to spec" (which makes the "new computer" option look alot nicer and cheaper in the long run, plus it will be abit more "future proof" (I hope) than what I have now.

At least I should be able to run the new AmigaOS/DE on the new hardware (and not have to worry about having to use Windoze).

IMHO.
